AssessTech are going to InnoTrans 2022

InnoTrans is the world’s biggest rail trade fair. Held in Berlin from 20 to 23 September, it brings together the rail industries of almost every nation in the world.

InnoTrans 2018 attracted over 153,000 trade visitors from more than 149 countries and with 3,062 exhibitors from 61 countries representing Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, InnoTrans occupies all 42 halls available at Messe Berlin.

AssessTech’s CEO Gabriel Stroud and Project Manager Hannah Washer are attending this year’s event in Berlin as part of a trade mission organised by the Department of International Trade (DIT) and the Railway Industry Association (RIA).  As well as attending the show they will be joining others from the mission at the UK InnoTrans evening networking reception, held at the British Embassy.

Rail is vital to the UK economy. It is a key contributor to the country’s exports with around £800 million being exported every year – and there is a huge push from government to grow that even further! Over the last few years AssessTech has ‘dipped its toe’ in international markets – we’re now working with National Express (Germany), Eurostar (UK/France/Belgium), Saudi Arabia Rail (Middle East) and Railtrain (Australia) – and we want to widen our network to other global regions so we can share the great work that’s been happening to improve safety and reduce incidents in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for us to meet new people and expand our network further.
