c2c, owned by Italian operator Trenitalia, were the pioneers of ACMS in 2010.  As a business reliant on a paper based CMS, like most other TOCs at the time, the business struggled with challenges around resource and time consuming paper-based assessments.

c2c had the vision to see the benefits electronic competence would bring to their organisation and worked closely with AssessTech to be the pioneers of the first app.
