AssessTech gain ISO27001 accreditation
We are delighted to announce that we have recently been awarded the ISO27001 accreditation. We passed the audit with flying colours in a spectacular fashion and on our first attempt!
Having this accreditation highlights that our official policies and documentation are certified to ensure that our people, processes, and technology protect and safeguard both company data and the data of our customers.
Achieving the ISO27001 accreditation is a powerful accolade for our business as it demonstrates that we implement a robust approach to information security. The security of our data and information is always in the forefront of our minds at AssessTech, and is central to everything we do, and the award allows our customers to remain confident in this knowledge that their data is secure.
The ISO baton was passed along to our Head of Learning and Development, Leanne Hammond, when she joined AssessTech in April last year.
‘I’m so proud to have led the ISO 27001 project for AssessTech. Our success is testament to all the hard work the team at AssessTech puts in, not only to what we do as a company but also how we do it. It is so important to see this recognised through an independent channel, and to pass in such a spectacular fashion is a fantastic testimony to hard work and determination.’
The certification involves the hard work of all our employees in ensuring strong data security and demonstrates that we are continually refining our processes to grow with the industry and technology as it evolves.
For our customers, this underlines the strength of our approach to data security – the ISO27001 certification is something often asked about.
‘Being awarded the ISO27001 accreditation highlights the exemplary practices and processes that our customers know we have been delivering across the business over the last 10 years. It is great to have the official accreditation that reflects this and highlights our good practices. It is a credit to the whole team, who have worked hard to document their practices, that we were awarded the accreditation on the first attempt.’
