Heathrow Rail – Reducing Incidents through Competence Management

Minimising incidents is one of the biggest targets in the rail industry.

Having a robust competence management process, and an electronic solution to manage it, is paramount to achieving that goal.

A great example of an organisation reducing their incidents is Heathrow Rail who are part of the Heathrow Airport Engineering and Asset management team. Their responsibility is to maintain the rail infrastructure (tracks, platforms, and signals) used by the TOCs Heathrow Express, TFL Elizabeth Line and London Underground Piccadilly lines. 

Through ACMS, Heathrow Rail were able to reduce their incidents from 25 down to 2 in just one year!
