Train Operator Liaison Officers (TOLO) and Station Incident Officers (SIO) deal with multiple elements around an incident and as such require in-depth training. How they respond is critical to the organisations’ reputation.

They should also understand how it fits within the bigger picture of their organisation. The course gives a structure for dealing with incidents and builds a confidence to make decisions, along with the appropriate non-technical skills. Candidates use the Incident Recovery Kit Game as a learning aid during the course to learn how to respond to an incident, prevent escalation and retain their organisation’s reputation.

We have recently launched our online TOLO and SIO Refresher Courses where individuals complete an online course to refresh their competence. This is beneficial to the candidate as they have the flexibility to complete the refresher course at their own convenience and can fully self-manage their own competence.
